Jeff Iverson is a convicted felon with a long criminal history. We have collected the original documents from Jeff Iverson’s arrests along with the court proceedings. He would prefer you not be able to review this information as he thought these records were destroyed many years ago. He was wrong.
On April 28, 2002 Jeff Iverson was arrested for multiple meth related charges. The original arrest report is below.
The sentencing hearing was held September 10, 2002. During this hearing Iverson admitted his ego is a problem. It remains a problem 20+ years later. The transcript is below.
Jeff Iverson’s next arrest came August 14, 2005. He was once again arrested on meth related charges. The original arrest report is below.
It should be noted the arrest report indicates at the time of his arrest Jeff Iverson was living at home with his parents. Jeff Iverson’s father was Mervin Iverson who passed away in 2017. He was a widely respected educator and a school in Las Vegas is named after him. Mervin Iverson went so far as to attempt to help his son maintain stable employment by getting him a job as a substitute teacher in the very school which was name after him.
Because of Jeff Iverson’s felonious drug convictions he is not never allowed to teach at CCSD again.
Jeff had a very close friend named Josh Cyr. They did everything together, but was everything the way Jeff Iverson wanted it to appear? Josh is now dead. He died of a drug overdose.
Did Jeff Iverson’s treatment of Josh Cyr contribute to Josh’s death ?
Sometime between 2017-2018 Iverson befriended Joshua Cyr. A series of social media posts show how Iverson slowly infiltrated Cyr’s life under the guise of being a friend who could help Cyr with his addiction to heroin.
However, it is our opinion based on the evidence that Iverson was intent on having a sexual relationship with Cyr based on how Iverson wined and dined Cyr who was, by all accounts, a heterosexual.
While today Jeff Iverson is and out-and-proud gay man, in 2017-2018 he was still living his life in the closet about his homosexuality. It is our opinion Joshua Cyr was used by Iverson to announce Iverson’s coming out of the closet.
Between July 2018 and July 2019 Iverson took Cyr on numerous luxurious trips around the world and they dined in the finest establishments.
After Iverson was finished with Cyr he essentially stopped contact. Cyr overdosed and died shortly thereafter. In the posts by Iverson following Cyr’s death, Iverson barely acknowledged Cyr’s passing and certainly did not mention how role leading to Cyr’s demise.

August 4, 2018 The next day they were watching a Disney movie together.
August 4, 2018 After the movie the pair headed out to see another Cirque du Soleil show. This time it was “O.”
The comments below the post are telling in that they show what we believe to be flirtatious banter between Iverson and Cyr. This is relevant as Iverson denies have any romantic interest in Cyr whatsoever, and therefore no culpability to Cyr’s death. However, we believe the opposite is true. It is our opinion that clearly Iverson had been “love bombing” Cyr, who Iverson knew to be a drug addict in recovery. And we believe Iverson had no intention to maintain his relationship with Cyr. It is also our opinion Iverson did not consider, nor care, about the emotional ramifications of what would happen to Cyr after the relationship ended. It seems to be common sense and inevitable that Cyr would find his way back to drug use after being cast aside by Iverson. Which is what, in our opinion, Iverson wanted to happen all along.

August 24, 2018 Another show. This time at The Wynn, “The Dream.”
September 1, 2018 Jeff Iverson either bought or lent a vehicle to Cyr. There was much banter in the comments, some of which was sexual. For example a commenter told Cyr to “get those knee pads” which meant Cyr now owed Iverson oral sex. Iverson himself also chimed in saying “paying it forward will be easy”, which the reader can decide if was meant in a sexual connotation or not. We certainly believe Iverson did mean his comment in a sexual manner.
September 2, 2018 The next day Iverson and Cyr were dining and neither mentioned it on social media. However, a mutual friend of both happened to capture the moment.
September 29, 2018 Iverson and Cyr are together with Iverson boasting about recovery. Yet was he leading Cyr down a dangerous path with devastating consequences?
October 22, 2018 Jeff Iverson traveled to the Bahamas for a wedding. Who did he bring as his +1? Joshua Cyr. This is amongst the most telling evidence as it relates to if Iverson denials that he was romantically attached to Cyr.
October 24, 2018 Two days later Iverson and Cyr were 700 miles away from the Bahamas in Mexico enjoying the sites of San Miguel de Cozumel, Mexico.
February 16, 2019 Iverson took Joshua Cyr on a skiing trip to Big Bear, California.
September 13, 2019 Something happened between February’s skiing trip and the next posting from Joshua Cyr. The interactions between Iverson and Cyr all came to a screeching halt. And the only clue left by Cyr occurred when he lamented he no longer had friends.
Septermber 22, 2019 Another clue to the rift which evidently formed between Iverson and Cyr is twofold. First Cyr tagged Iverson in a post which indicated Cyr thought Iverson was evil. Second, Iverson freely admitted in the comments section about his tendency to lie.

We believe Jeff Iverson that he is a liar.
September 24, 2019 Joshua Cyr leaves a public post on Iverson’s Facebook profile telling him to check his text messages.
April 1, 2020 Joshua Cyr comments on Iverson’s post telling Iverson to buy two of everything like the “old days.” And that he could use more rumors. These comments show, in our opinion, the change in relationship between Iverson and Cyr. In the “old days” Iverson was fawning over Cyr and there were many rumors about the two’s status romantically or otherwise.
June 7, 2020 Iverson and Cyr took a hike in Red Rock.
There were no further interactions between Iverson and Cyr. Tragically, Joshua Cyr passed away May 16, 2021. What caused the rift between Jeff Iverson and Joshua Cyr? Did this rift lead to Cyr using drugs against which ultimately cost him his life? The definitive fact may never be known, but in our opinion Jeff Iverson is absolutely culpable.
